High priced Madrid faces test in Lyon

In another high-profile match, Real Madrid's high-priced squad will be trying to avoid a sixth straight early exit from the Champions League, when they play host to Lyon. Madrid have high expectations for this season, with the final to be played at their Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Manuel Pelegrini, Manager of Real Madrid, said, "I think in the Champions League there's never an easy opponent, especially Olympique. We are actually confident that we are going to get through to the next round because moving up (from the last game) is not going to be anything epic."

But the French visitors will be no pushovers and after beating Madrid 1-0 in the first leg, they only need a draw to advance.
