Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has met his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe in Tokyo. Both sides signed a landmark energy pact, which will give India access to nuclear technology after decades of isolation.
On Friday, Modi praised the "growing convergence" of views between his nation and Japan, saying stronger ties will enable both countries to play a stabilising role in Asia. Modi's visit to Japan, which started on Thursday, will finish on Saturday.
