Analysts say property market development in 2010 will mainly rely on government polices and the nation's macro-economic environment. They believe the sector is full of uncertainty. Therefore, many market participants are still holding a "wait and see" attitude toward next year's real estate prospects.
Yan Jinming, managing director of China Land Science Society, said, "The macro-economic situation is still unchanged, and the overall economy still needs to maintain growth. So the currently high housing prices could last for a while. It's hard to predict how long it will take for those prices to fall down."
Zhang Kunyu, general manager of Gentaline Investment Consulting Dept, said, "The situation could still be unchanged this year. The growth rate of housing prices may not be so fast next year. So the market will have some corrections."
