Match-fixing probe nets new results

China's campaign to crack down on match-fixing in soccer has achieved new progress. One team has now been dismissed for manipulating game results.

This is the training base for the former Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Football Club, at the hill of Baiyun Mountain. The team is still practicing, despite the fact that it technically no longer exists. The coach acknowledges that someone had to go down first.

Peng Weiguo, coach Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Club, said, "I think it's good to reveal the truth about Chinese soccer. It's healthy. Intervention from law enforcement departments is a good thing."
