In Europa League Semi-Finals, two-time reigning titleholders Sevilla will be seeking a third consecutive trip to the Final, as they host Shakhtar Donetsk in the second leg of their showdown.
Last week's First Leg in Ukraine ended 2-2, handing the Spanish side the advantage on the away-goals rule, but they will look to win the return encounter outright in front of their home fans. The only club with four Europa League trophies would like to extend that record to five, while also becoming the first team to three-peat in the tournament. The opponents Shakhtar Donetsk have won the title once, back in 2009.
Reds suffered 1-0 loss in last week’s Opening Leg in Spain
The opposite side of the draw pits the English Premier League's Liverpool against another Spanish contender, Villarreal, who hosted and won last week's First Leg 1-0. They now hope to keep the momentum going as the action moves to Anfield, but the Reds will be looking to rally at home, keeping alive the push for their first continental title of any sort, since last winning the Champions League in 2006.
